Amy won a Proud of Bucks award last night in the Improving Health wellbeing category. In recognition for the positive impact on the community she has made.
Amy Scullard is founder and chair of Emmett’s Genies CIO a charity that provides opportunities for children with critical and life limiting conditions and their families to have fun and make amazing memories.
Amy also runs a perinatal mental health peer support group (Aylesbury Pandas Support Group ) re-establishing it when it closes due to withdrawal of funding.
Amy is a physiotherapist specialising in neurological conditions and physical rehabilitation of older people. She also has 2 children, one of whom was the inspiration of Emmett’s Genies as he was diagnosed with cancer at 2 and a half and it was his cancer journey that gave Amy the ambition to create Emmett’s Genies.
